OHRC 2004 Meeting Notices

NOTICE
REGULARLY SCHEDULED MEETINGS AND AGENDA DEADLINE DATES
FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2004

¹The December 18, 2003 Regularly Scheduled Commission meeting has been cancelled pursuant to provisions in OHRC Rules of Racing Rule 325:1-1-20, Regularly Scheduled Meetings, Special Meetings, Emergency Meetings, and Cancellation of Meetings. The January 2004 meeting has been rescheduled from January 15th to January 8th. The deadline for submitting agenda items for the January 8 meeting is Tuesday, December 30.

² Please be advised that the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission has cancelled its April, 2004 meeting. The Commission will conduct a monthly meeting at Blue Ribbon Downs during BRD’s Fall Mixed Breed race meeting. Also, the May 20, 2004 Commission meeting has been rescheduled to May 6, 2004, starting at 9:30 a.m., in the Activity Center at Shepherd Mall (N.W. 23 and Villa Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK). The deadline for submitting agenda item requests for the May 6 meeting will be April 27.

³The August , 2004 meeting was rescheduled from August 19, 2004 to Augsust 20, 2004 to August 27, 2004. The location of the meeting has bee changed to Blue Ribbon Downs, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Pursuant to Commission Rule 325:1-1-22, Procedure For Submitting Requests To Be Placed On Commission Agendas, any person or entity requesting to be placed on a Commission Meeting agenda must submit a written request reflecting the specific nature of the request and include the requester's name and address. Such requests must be received at the Commission Office no later than the deadline date and time for acceptance of agenda requests as prescribed and publicly posted by the Commission. All requests should be submitted to the Executive Director at the address shown below.

PLEASE NOTE: The location of the above meetings is scheduled for the Shepherd Mall Activity Center, 2504 Villa Prom, (N.W. 23rd Street and Villa Avenue), Oklahoma City, OK 73107. Occasionally, Regularly Scheduled Meeting dates are rescheduled or Special Meetings are scheduled. Please check with the Commission Office during the first week of each month to verify the meeting schedule.
