REMINGTON PARK 1 Remington Place Oklahoma City, OK 73111 405-424-1000 866-456-9880 www.remingtonpark.com

Remington Park is Oklahoma's premier horse racing and casino entertainment venue.

Remington Park hosts two racing seasons yearly with the American Quarter Horse & Mixed-Breed Season (March thru May) and the Thoroughbred Season (August thru mid-December). Simulcast racing is available every day of the year.

The Remington Park Casino opened in late 2005 and now offers 750 electronic gaming machines, horse racing in the Lookout Lounge, live entertainment from the Wild Rush Stage and the top buffet in central Oklahoma at Remi's.

Unlike many racetracks in North America that separates their casino from the racing activity, Remington Park embraces the two forms of entertainment, allowing each to promote the other. The Remington Park business model combines the activities on the casino floor and promotes easy access from that floor to the racing areas of the facility. The practice has been well received by our guests as they appreciate and enjoy their multiple entertainment options, moving between them during each visit.

Remington Park's racing and dining experience is extraordinary with a visit to the Silks Restaurant offering a panoramic view of the action on the track from the Clubhouse level of Remington Park. Nearly every table in Silks has a television for viewing the live races, simulcast racing and other sporting events.

The Silks is renowned for its full menu of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees and desserts. Full wait-service is also available in the Club One box-seat section located next to the Silks on the Clubhouse level.

The Casino brings a competitive balance to Remington Park by boosting race purses for horsemen and growing the state's horse industry. The casino operation has helped elevate Remington Park to the nation's upper echelon of horse racing. Remington Park now hosts the $1,000,000 Heritage Place Futurity as the marquee event during the Quarter Horse season. The Thoroughbred meeting is highlighted by the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby, now boasting the richest purse in its history.

The Remington Park Casino has also provided an economic stimulus to the state of Oklahoma's education coffers. Since the Casino opened, over $43 Million has been generated for the state education fund by the casino games through June 2009.

Remington Park continues to grow and improve the overall facility, not just the area that contains the casino. Recent construction included two new barns in the stable area, allowing Remington Park's horse stall capacity to grow to 1,464.

Remington Park is owned by Global Gaming RP, LLC, and is Oklahoma City's only Racetrack & Casino, located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District.

Open every day at 10am Remington Park offers full-card simulcast racing and casino gaming with 750 of the most popular games. The casino is open until Midnight every Sunday thru Wednesday, operable until 2am on Thursday and until 3am on Friday and Saturday. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park. For more information, reservations and group bookings please call 405-424-1000, 866-456-9880 or visit remingtonpark.com.

Remington Park opened on September 1, 1988, just a few years after Oklahomans legalized pari-mutuel horse racing in a referendum earlier in the decade. Seated on 375 acres in northeast Oklahoma City, Remington Park was built at a cost of nearly $100 million and founded by the late Edward J. DeBartolo Sr.

Always noted for outstanding and competitive racing, Remington Park has had many stars emerge from its ranks, including the great Oklahoma-bred Clever Trevor who immediately put the track on the national map. He won the inaugural Oklahoma Derby (then known as the Remington Park Derby) in 1989. That race served as a stepping stone to a season where he would earn more than $1 million and compete in the Kentucky Derby.

The American Quarter Horse Season has always been star-studded with the best in the sport annually calling Remington Park home. Stars such as Refrigerator, Winalota Cash, SLM Big Daddy, Tailor Fit and Stolis Winner are just a few of the World Champions that regularly campaigned in Oklahoma City.

Large crowds packed Remington Park in the early years, frequenting the seasons for Thoroughbred and American Quarter Horse racing. The largest gathering in track history took place on February 29, 1992 when 26,411 came to the track to for a Wallet Day promotional giveaway.

The richest pari-mutuel payoff in track history took place when there was one perfect ticket in the Remington Park Pick Six on February 24, 1990. The ticket was worth $1,070,482.50.

The competitive landscape for the entertainment dollar changed drastically in the mid-1990s as Native American Casinos sprang up around Oklahoma. With that in mind, Oklahomans chose to allow the state's racetracks to have similar business structures when State Question 712 was passed by a resounding vote on November 2, 2004.

The measure allowed Remington Park to add Electronic Casino Gaming to its entertainment experience. The Casino opened in late November 2005 after a massive $35 Million renovation of the facility was completed.

The Las Vegas-style Casino is a jewel, featuring all the expected amenities including Remi's Buffet Restaurant, The Wild Rush Bar and Stage for musical entertainment and the Lookout Lounge where horse racing is featured daily. The Casino addition immediately brought large crowds back to Remington Park. Attendance has been over a million each year since 2006 and is now approaching two million. In 2009, 1,693,287 people walked through the casino and racing entrances at Remington Park, establishing a new record for guests in a calendar year. Record crowds have also returned to Remington Park for the biggest racing events throughout the year such as the Triple Crown races, the Breeders' Cup and the best in live racing like the Heritage Place Futurity and Remington Park Championship night in the Quarter Horse Season and the Oklahoma Derby during the Thoroughbred Season.

The first Million-dollar race in Remington Park history took place on June 1, 2008 at Remington Park with the running of the $1,106,320 Heritage Place Futurity, won by Stolis Winner. The seven-digit, Grade 1 event has placed Remington Park into an elite category of just a handful of racetracks that host an American Quarter Horse race worth more than a million dollars. Remington Park proudly presents this million-dollar race on the final weekend of each Quarter Horse season. The 2009 Heritage Place Futurity toppled the mark for the richest race in state history with a total purse of $1,107,000.

The Oklahoma Derby has been revitalized in recent years and continues to serve as Remington Park's marquee Thoroughbred race. Thanks to a growing purse structure for the derby and other major stakes races, Remington Park now regularly draws horses that compete on a national-level in the highly-regarded graded races.

The 2009 Oklahoma Derby, at $400,000, was the richest Thoroughbred race ever contested in Oklahoma. Placed just a few weeks before the Breeders' Cup Championships, the Oklahoma Derby provides an excellent final prep-race for 3-year-olds who go on to compete in America's richest race day.

The 2010 edition of the Oklahoma Classics on Friday, October 22 will boast the richest night of racing for eligible Oklahoma-bred Thoroughbreds in the history of racing. A total of eight stakes races will be conducted that night, carrying total purse money of more than $1 million.

The richest Thoroughbred purse structure in the track's history now entices the top horsemen and horses into competition here, along with a new-found national notoriety. Remington Park is regularly featured on HorseRacing Television (HRTV), Television Games (TVG) and is a featured track on the HorseplayerNow.com site which caters to high-end horseplayers from around the nation. Innovative chat sessions held weekly during all racing seasons informs those taking part of horses to watch and stakes race previews, all designed to aid the nation's largest horseplayers in their wagering on Remington Park racing.

Other national attention on Remington Park comes in the form of ESPN.com, the online version of "The Worldwide Leader in Sports." The informative site regularly features the biggest Remington Park stakes races as main races that national fans should note on a particular weekend.

In 2007, Remington Park was named one of the Top 5 racetracks in America that provided 'More Bang for The Buck' by HorsePlayer Magazine. The accolades continue to roll in as a grassroots organization comprised of the people that support the sport from the wagering side, have moved Remington Park to the top of a very prestigious list.

The Horseplayers Association of North America (HANA) named Remington Park the #3 racing venue for 2008, based on the highly competitive quality of racing and wagering values to fans. A pair of tracks in Kentucky finished ahead of Remington Park. However, none in front offer racing at night, so it can be said that Remington Park is #1 for night racing in the country.

Over the years, Remington Park has experienced many highs, some serious lows and now once again, extremely successful highs. Only 22-years-old, Remington Park has been a popular property to own, changing hands many times over its relatively short history.

Developed originally by the late Edward J. DeBartolo, Remington Park was sold to Magna Entertainment Corp in late 1999. Current owner Global Gaming Solutions RP, a subsidiary of the Chickasaw Nation, purchased Remington Park through bankruptcy auction proceedings from Magna Entertainment Corp. in late 2009 and took over daily operations on January 1, 2010.

Global Gaming is a very successful entertainment ownership group and they are the first Oklahoma-based entity to own the state's top racing and casino venue.

Remington Park guests must be 18 to wager on horse racing or to enter the Casino. Guests under 18 are welcome in all non-Casino areas. Admission and Valet Parking are always free.

Remington Park is Oklahoma City's only Racetrack & Casino, located at the junction of Interstates 35 & 44, in the heart of the Oklahoma City Adventure District. For more information, reservations and group bookings please call 405-424-1000, 866-456-9880 or visit remingtonpark.com.
